Honourable Member of Parliament, Palakkad Constituency Sh. M B Rajesh inaugurated the 31st Regional Youth Parliament today.
The inaugural session commenced after the flag hoisting by the chief guest, Sh. M B Rajesh.
Sh. P.K Vasisht, Chairman, VMC presided over the funciton. Sh. C Karunakaran, AC, KVS RO Ernakulam was present during the programme.
Smt. K Rajeswari, Principal delivered the welcome address.
In his inaugural address, Sh. M B Rajesh shared his experiences as a parliamentarian and talked about the democratic setup of India. He concluded his speech wishing the teams all the best and with a hope that many future parliamentarians may emerge from the participants of the Youth Parliament Competition today.
Five Kendriya Vidyalayas of KVS Ernakulam Region viz. KV No. 1 Palakkad, KV Thrissur, KV No.2 Kochi, KV Akkulam and KV No.1 Calicut are competing the 31st Youth Parliament Competition.
